研究内容
岩石実験の結果に基づいた摩擦構成則を用いた地震サイクルシミュレーションを行うことを通して，プレート境界でのサイスミックカップリング，地殻変動，地震活動パターン等についての物理的理解を深める研究を進めている．主な研究テーマは以下のとおり．(1) 室内実験結果に基づく摩擦構成則の開発．(2) 非地震性すべりの発生による応力場の変動が地震活動に及ぼす影響についての研究．(3) 大地震に先行する非地震性すべりの研究．(4) 断層間相互作用が地震サイクルに及ぼす影響についての研究．
